    • Suspected counterfeit batch: C5290S20
    • Discovered in Lagos, Nigeria.
  2. Avastin 400mg/16ml

    • Counterfeit batches: H0223B08 and H4239A70
    • Detected in Kano and Abuja, Nigeria 

These fake drugs pose serious risks, as their quality, safety, and efficacy are compromised. For cancer patients relying on these medications, the implications could be life-threatening.

🚨 Phesgo® 600mg Alert

  • Counterfeit batch C5290S20 spotted in Lagos.
  • Differences from genuine product: incorrect language, non-existent batch, missing Basilisk, wrong labels.
  • Details:
    • Stated Manufacturer: Roche S.P.A (Counterfeit)
    • Genuine Manufacturer: F.Hoffman La Roche, Switzerland
    • Used For: Breast cancer treatment.

🚨 Avastin 400mg Alert

  • Counterfeit batches H0223B08 (Kano) and H4239A70 (Abuja).
  • H0223B08 genuine product expired in 2022.
  • H4239A70 is a fake batch number, not linked to Roche.
  • Used For: Colon, lung, kidney cancer, and more.

Action Needed:

  1. Verify medicines from licensed suppliers.
  2. Stop use and report counterfeit products to NAFDAC.
